Our take
- Enter MHO1029 on the account you plan to keep, and do it early. The broadcasts gave no end date, so there is nothing to gain by waiting. We have not redeemed it ourselves yet, so if it fails for you, check the spelling first: MHO, then 1029.
- Ignore any site that claims to make codes for you or asks you to sign in with your game account. Real codes come from the official broadcasts and accounts listed on this page, and you type them into the game yourself.
The one official code so far
As of October 29, 2026, MHO1029 is the only code with an official source behind it. It pays out 200 Rutacoin and 20,000 Zenny. Rutacoin is what you spend on recruitment, so the code is a small push toward your first pulls. Our Monster Hunter Outlanders gacha guide explains how the banners work, and the Monster Hunter Outlanders reroll page covers who to pull for on a fresh account.
The code came out before launch. On October 27, 2026, the official English and Japanese launch broadcasts each showed MHO1029 to viewers. Servers then opened on October 28, 2026 at 22:00 UTC (October 29 in Asia). Since then, a player in Southeast Asia, where Garena publishes the game, has listed the same code. We have not redeemed it in game ourselves, so the entry above has no verified date yet.
The official broadcasts did not give an end date. We keep the code marked active until an official post says otherwise or we can confirm that it has stopped working.
How to redeem it
The broadcasts give two steps. First, open the Event Center inside the game, which the Japanese version labels イベントセンター. Then pick Redeem, shown as 交換 in Japanese, and type the code. We have not looked at the English menu ourselves, so the exact English wording may differ a little. The broadcasts also do not say where the Event Center button sits on screen, and we do not guess.
Which servers the code is for
Monster Hunter Outlanders runs as two versions. Level Infinite runs the North America, Japan and Europe servers. Garena publishes a separate version across Southeast Asia, with its own servers (Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa and Latam) and its own login options. Both versions opened at the same moment.
For the Level Infinite servers, we count MHO1029 as officially announced. For the Garena version we have one player’s list and nothing official yet, so we mark it as a player report. Data does not carry over between servers, which the official FAQs on both sides state, so enter the code on the server and account you plan to keep.
How we keep this page current
Each time we check, we go through the official X accounts, the official YouTube channel and the official website, and add any new code here with its source. The checked date at the top of the page shows our latest pass. A code that only appears in a creator’s list, with no official post behind it, stays off this page until we can confirm it.
Skip sites that promise free codes
If a site claims it can create codes, or promises free codes or Rutacoin in exchange for your game login, close it. The one official code so far was shown openly in public broadcasts, and you enter it yourself in the Event Center.
Monster Hunter Outlanders Codes FAQ
Are there any Monster Hunter Outlanders codes?
Yes, one as of October 29, 2026. MHO1029 gives 200 Rutacoin and 20,000 Zenny. The official launch broadcasts in English and Japanese both showed it to viewers on October 27, before servers opened.
How do you redeem codes in Monster Hunter Outlanders?
Open the in-game Event Center (イベントセンター in the Japanese version), then enter the code under Redeem (交換 in Japanese). Those are the two steps from the official broadcasts. We have not checked the English menu labels in game yet.
Where are Monster Hunter Outlanders codes posted?
The only code so far came from the official launch broadcasts on YouTube. We also check the official X accounts @MHO_English and @MHO_Japan and the official website, and add any new code to this page with its source.
When does MHO1029 expire?
The official broadcasts did not give an end date. We list it as active for now and will mark it expired once an official post says so or once we can confirm it no longer works.
Is the code MHO1029 or MH1029?
MHO1029. The English auto-captions of the broadcast read it as MH1029, but the Japanese broadcast captions show MHO 1029 and the launch hashtag is #MHO1029GoHunt, so we list MHO1029.
Does MHO1029 work on the Garena version?
We cannot confirm it yet. MHO1029 was announced in the Level Infinite launch broadcasts in English and Japanese, so we count it as official for the North America, Japan and Europe servers. Garena publishes the same game in Southeast Asia, but its updates and events can differ, and the official Garena announcements are the reference there. So far only one player lists MHO1029 for the Garena version, which we record as a player report.
Have you redeemed MHO1029 yourselves?
Not yet. We list it because both official broadcasts announced it, not because we have used it. Once we redeem it in game, we will add that date to the code entry.
