Monster Hunter Outlanders Appearance ID

To use an appearance ID in Monster Hunter Outlanders, copy it off a share image and enter it via Import, one player reports.

Checked for v1.0.9 Updated

Written from in-game screens players posted publicly, checked November 2, 2026. Menu locations and the ticket rest on one player's screens each, and we will update once confirmed.

Our advice

  • Treat the 身だしなみチケット as scarce until its source is clear. One player shows a save costing one ticket, and we have found nothing on getting more, so settle on a look before you save it.
  • Keep the share image of every look you like, your own included. The ID is printed on the picture, so on paper the image works as both a preview and a backup code you can import later.

Monster Hunter Outlanders Appearance ID, step by step

  1. Illustration of a hunter in a tent fixing a braid in front of a tall wooden mirror, beside an open chest holding scarves and armor
Step 1: open the appearance screen, which one player reports under different menus in English and Japanese. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

    Open the appearance screen

One player reports two routes. In English, the buttons sit on the Create Adventurer / Makeup screen. In Japanese, the menu is under マイページ (My Page), then 交流 (Interaction), then 身だしなみ (Appearance). Both come from single screenshots, so the path may differ on your version.

  2. Illustration of a hunter pinning a small wax-sealed portrait to a camp notice board while two other hunters lean in to look
Step 2: sharing a look makes a picture of the character with the appearance ID in the bottom-left corner. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

Share your look to get its ID

Press Share and the game makes an image of your character. The ID is printed in the bottom-left corner, labeled Appearance ID in English and 身だしなみID in Japanese. One player reports the Share button in the top row of the Makeup screen, next to Import.

  3. Illustration of a hunter at a forest pond holding a portrait card up and comparing it with a reflection in the water
Step 3: type the ID from someone else's share image into Import to load that look as a base. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

    Import someone else's ID

One player reports an Import button in the same top row as Share. Enter the code exactly as it appears on the share image. Every ID we saw had 8 characters, so count them and compare each one with the image before you confirm.

  4. Illustration of a hunter at a camp tailor stall handing a small paper ticket to a tailor who holds a tape measure
Step 4: one player reports that saving and applying a new look uses up one 身だしなみチケット. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

    Save the look

On one player's save screen, saving and applying a new look used 1 身だしなみチケット (its English name is not confirmed; it means roughly appearance ticket). A different player's mail showed one in the 事前登録報酬 第1弾, the first pre-registration reward.

Where people get stuck

Searching for visage settings to change your face

Visages are a different system. The official launch broadcast lists them next to character growth and equipment, not under character creation. For a new face or hairstyle, use the appearance screen and an appearance ID.

An ID that does not load the look you expected

Copy the code straight from the bottom-left corner of the share image and count the characters. Every ID we saw had 8 and started with 0E00, so a code that does not match that pattern is worth checking twice.

No 身だしなみチケット left when you want to save

We have not found a source that says where else the ticket comes from. One player's ticket arrived in the first pre-registration reward mail, so check your mail. Beyond that, we will update this page once a source turns up.

What an appearance ID is

An appearance ID is a short code that stands for one character-creation look. Players post these codes so that anyone else can load the look and use it as a base for their own character. The Japanese version calls it 身だしなみID. Official material already listed the look of the Fated Adventurer, the character you play, as customizable. Since launch, players have been trading the results as codes.

The code lives on a picture. When a player shares a look, the game makes an image of the character and prints the ID in the bottom-left corner. On English screens the label reads Appearance ID; on Japanese screens it reads 身だしなみID. Every ID we saw in public posts was 8 characters long and began with 0E00. We read that as a pattern in what players posted, not a rule the game has stated.

We do not collect or list player IDs on this page. Each look belongs to the player who made it, so we only cover how the system works. If you like a look someone posted, use the code they chose to share.

Where to find it, as players report

So far, each menu location comes from a single player, so read this section as a report and not a confirmed path. We will update it once we can check more screens.

On one player’s English screen, the buttons you need sit on the Create Adventurer / Makeup screen. Six of them run along the top: Reset, Interface, Hair Up, Fixate, Import and Share. Import is where a copied code goes in. Share makes the picture with your own ID on it.

On one player’s Japanese screens, the menu sits under マイページ (My Page), then 交流 (Interaction), then 身だしなみ (Appearance). That player says the screen holds up to 9 saved character-creation sets. We have not seen the English names along this route, so we cannot yet say whether the English menu follows the same order.

Two habits help on either version. Copy every character of a code exactly, because we have not seen what the game does with a mistyped one. And share your own look before you import anything, so you keep its ID to return to.

Changing your look later

The cost of a change also rests on one player’s report. On that player’s save screen, saving and applying a new look used 1 身だしなみチケット. Its English name is not confirmed; the Japanese name means roughly “appearance ticket”.

A different player’s in-game mail shows where one ticket came from: the 事前登録報酬 第1弾 (first pre-registration reward). If you pre-registered too, your mail is the first place to look, though we cannot confirm that every account received one.

That is all we can source. We have not found anything on whether the ticket can be bought, how else to earn one, or what happens when you have none left. Until that changes, our advice is to treat the ticket as scarce. Load a code you like, look at it from a few angles, and save only once you are sure.

Appearance ID is not visage

If you searched for “visage”, you are likely after something else. The official launch broadcast names visages as one of the areas improved for launch, next to character growth and equipment, and it does not describe them as part of character creation. This page covers appearance IDs only.

Monster Hunter Outlanders Appearance ID: FAQ

How do I use an appearance ID in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Where do I find my appearance ID in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Share your look. The game makes an image of your character with the ID in the bottom-left corner, labeled Appearance ID in English and 身だしなみID in Japanese. One player reports the Share button next to Import on the Makeup screen.

Can you change your appearance in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Yes, one player reports, through the appearance menu. On that player's save screen, saving and applying a new look used 1 身だしなみチケット. We have not found a source on other ways to get the ticket, so check your mail before you change anything.

Does Monster Hunter Outlanders have character customization?

Yes. Official material says the Fated Adventurer, the character you play, has a customizable look. Players also share character-creation looks as appearance IDs, which others load as a starting point for their own.

What does an appearance ID look like?

Every ID we saw in public posts was 8 characters long and began with 0E00. That is a pattern across the posts we checked, not a format the game has confirmed, so copy each character exactly as shown.

What is a 身だしなみチケット?

No. The official launch broadcast lists visages next to character growth and equipment as areas improved for launch, and it does not place them in character creation. An appearance ID is a code for a character-creation look.

Do appearance IDs work on both Garena and Level Infinite?

We have not found a source. No official text covers appearance IDs across the two publishers, so we cannot say whether a code shared on one version loads on the other.

How many looks can I save?

One player reports room for up to 9 saved character-creation sets under マイページ, 交流, 身だしなみ on the Japanese version. We have not seen an English screen that shows the limit.

Can I buy or earn more 身だしなみチケット?

We have not found a source. One player's mail shows a ticket in the first pre-registration reward, but nothing we have seen says whether tickets can be bought or earned another way.
