Pick by region: Level Infinite runs North America, Japan and Europe; Garena runs Korea, Asia Pacific, MEA and Latin America.

Checked for v1.0.9 Updated

Written from the Level Infinite and Garena official FAQs as checked on November 2, 2026. If either publisher changes its wording, the official text wins and we will update this page.

Our advice

  • Settle on a server before you spend any time on a character. Both FAQs say character data does not transfer between regions, so a late switch means a new character from zero.
  • Do not plan around Garena and Level Infinite linking up later. Neither publisher has said anything about it, and our read is that the two will stay apart, though we cannot confirm that.

Monster Hunter Outlanders Garena vs Level Infinite, step by step

  1. Find which version serves your region

Match where you live to a server in the table above. Level Infinite runs North America, Japan and Europe. Garena runs Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa and Latam. The two are separate apps on Google Play, so check the publisher name on the store page before you install.

  2. Check where your friends play

Ask your group which publisher and which server they chose. Both official FAQs say players on different regional servers cannot team up, add each other as friends or share a squad. To hunt together, you need the exact server they are on.

Step 3: friends on different regional servers cannot team up, so the group needs one shared server. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

Commit to one server before you build a character

Make your first character on the server you plan to keep. Both publishers say character data cannot move between regions, and neither says anything about moving one from Garena to Level Infinite or back. A later switch means starting fresh.

  4. Illustration of a hunter in a tent holding a dark phone, with teal and orange sealed letters on the table and a wall map with two shaded areas
Step 4: Level Infinite and Garena offer different login options, so choose one you can sign back into. Illustration by Monster Hunter Outlanders Tier List

Pick a login you will keep

Level Infinite takes a Level Infinite Account (email), Google, X, Apple, Facebook, LINE or Discord. Garena takes Google, Apple, Facebook, Garena or Guest. Pick one you can sign back into on a new phone. The account can continue on another device, but only one device can be logged in at a time.

Where people get stuck

Creating a character on the wrong server

Character data does not transfer between regions on either version. Confirm the server your group uses before you make a character, not after a week of play.

Expecting to team up with a friend on the other publisher

No official text says Garena and Level Infinite servers connect, and we expect they do not. If you want to play with that friend, one of you should start on the other server.

Planning to move your character later

Both FAQs rule out moving character data between regions, and neither mentions a move between publishers. Treat your first server as permanent.

Staying logged in on a phone and a tablet at once

One account can continue on a different device, but it cannot be logged in on two at the same time. Log out of one before you play on the other.

Garena and Level Infinite at a glance

Pick the version that serves the region you play in, and the one your friends already use. Monster Hunter Outlanders has two publishers, and each one runs its own set of servers. Level Infinite handles North America, Japan and Europe. Garena publishes the game in Southeast Asia and handles four servers: Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa and Latam.

Daily reset Not stated 05:00 server time
Cross-region play No No

The publisher differs, but the game itself does not. Both versions are on iOS and Android only, and every server on both sides opened at the same moment: October 28, 2026 at 22:00 UTC (October 29 in Asia). Garena gave that time as 06:00 on October 29 in UTC+8. On Google Play the two are separate apps. Level Infinite lists com.tencent.mhadv, and Garena Online Private Limited lists com.garena.game.mho. The table in step 1 puts the main details next to each other.

Can the two versions play together?

Start with what the official FAQs actually say. The Level Infinite FAQ says its regional servers do not connect. Players on different regions cannot team up, send friend requests or share a squad, and characters cannot be transferred between regions. The Garena FAQ says the same about its own four servers. It adds that friends who want to hunt together should create characters on the same server.

Neither FAQ mentions the other publisher. Each one lists only its own servers. So there is no official line on whether a Garena player and a Level Infinite player can join the same hunt, or on whether a character can move from one publisher to the other.

Here is our read, and it is only a read: we expect the answer to be no on both counts. The two versions are separate apps from separate companies, and they ask you to sign in through different account systems. If regions under one publisher already stay apart, a link between publishers looks unlikely on paper. Still, no official text says so, and we cannot confirm it. If either publisher addresses the question, we will update this page.

What is the same and what differs

Several things match. Language support matches too: nine options on each side, from English and Japanese to Korean and both forms of Chinese. Both list the same minimum and recommended iOS and Android specs, so we expect a phone that runs one version to run the other. Both say an account can continue on a new device but cannot stay logged in on two devices at once.

Thai is the language gap to know about. The Level Infinite FAQ says Thai is not in the game at launch and is under review for a later update. The Garena FAQ does not bring up Thai at all, so we cannot say whether its plans differ.

The login options are where the versions split:

  • Level Infinite: Level Infinite Account (email), Google, X, Apple, Facebook, LINE or Discord.
  • Garena: Google, Apple, Facebook, Garena or Guest.

Daily reset is the other difference, at least in the written FAQs. Garena puts it at 05:00 server time. The Level Infinite launch FAQ gives no reset time, so the table says it is not stated rather than guessing a time.

Which one should you pick?

Go by region first, then by people. If you live in North America, Japan or Europe, Level Infinite runs the servers for your region. If you are in Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa or Latam, Garena runs yours. If your group spreads across regions, agree on one server before anyone creates a character. The official FAQs say character data does not transfer between regions, so a late switch means starting over.

The official text gives no reason to call one version better than the other. We have no data on player counts or server load, so we do not rank them. Once you have chosen, our best adventurers for beginners list covers who to start with.

Monster Hunter Outlanders Garena vs Level Infinite: FAQ

Should I play Monster Hunter Outlanders on Garena or Level Infinite?

Play on the version that runs your region and your friends' server. Level Infinite runs North America, Japan and Europe. Garena runs Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa and Latam. Characters do not transfer between regions, so decide before you start.

Are Garena and Level Infinite the same game?

Yes. It is one game with two publishers and two sets of servers. The two official FAQs list the same nine languages and the same minimum and recommended phone specs, and every server opened at the same moment.

Can Garena and Level Infinite players play together?

There is no official answer. Each FAQ only says its own regional servers do not connect, and neither mentions the other publisher. Because the versions are separate apps with different logins, we expect cross-publisher play is not possible, but we cannot confirm it.

Can I transfer my character from Garena to Level Infinite?

No official text covers it. Both FAQs say character data cannot move between regions within their own servers, and neither mentions a move between publishers. On paper, we expect no transfer, so pick your server first.

Which regions does Garena run for Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Garena publishes the game in Southeast Asia and runs four servers: Korea, Asia Pacific, MidEast Africa and Latam. All four are on iOS and Android.

Which servers does Level Infinite run?

Three regions: North America, Japan and Europe. Players there install the Level Infinite app, listed on Google Play as com.tencent.mhadv, on an iPhone or Android phone.

Can I play with friends on another server?

No. Both publishers say players on different regional servers cannot team up, add each other as friends or form a squad, even when both servers belong to the same publisher. The Garena FAQ tells friends to create characters on the same server.

Do codes work on both versions?

Not confirmed. The codes we track were announced on the official English and Japanese launch broadcasts, and the reports so far come from Level Infinite servers. Whether they work on Garena servers is unconfirmed. See our monster hunter outlanders codes page.

Is there a PC version of either?

No. Both the Level Infinite and the Garena version are on iOS and Android only. See monster hunter outlanders pc for what that means for emulators and controllers.

When is the daily reset?

The Garena FAQ puts the daily reset at 05:00 server time. The Level Infinite launch FAQ does not give a reset time, so we do not list one for those servers.
